What is rory delap?

Rory Delap is a retired Irish footballer who played primarily as a midfielder and occasionally as a defender. He was born on July 6, 1976, in England but represented the Republic of Ireland at the international level. Delap began his professional career with Carlisle United in 1994 and went on to play for a number of clubs, including Derby County, Southampton, and Stoke City.

Delap is perhaps best known for his long throw-ins, which he became famous for during his time at Stoke City. His powerful and accurate throw-ins were a lethal weapon for Stoke, often leading to goals or goal-scoring opportunities for his team.
